POSTPONED Go-ride hill climb challenge
Owing to a rotten forecast for this evening we’re postponing tonight’s hill climb … we’ll be in the school hall instead.
Next Wednesday (22nd March) we’ll be meeting in Brinsley for a Hill Climb … there are lots more details, including address etc in the Calendar.
We’ll have timekeepers and floodlights, and event HQ at the Barker-Pine residence (17 Hall Lane).
Seniors welcome to give it a shot! Should be time for 2 runs each if we’re speedy 😀

Go-ride ride out tonight – 8th March
The no room at school ride out.
We’re anticipating about an hours ride out in Shipley Park; bring your bike, helmet, layers, lights and a bottle.
Meet in the Visitor Centre car park – leaving as close to 7pm as we can – if you’re running late you could text 07841828126.

Christmas 2016
Merry Christmas!
No bikes and no rollers needed this Wednesday (14th) … it’s our last club night before Christmas so we’re going to have a bit of a fuddle!
Bring:
- Finger food type snacks
- Your best Christmas jumper!! and a Santa hat!
We’ll bring:
- The kettle
- A few bits to keep you entertained!!
Note – we’re in the 6th form block not the usual dining hall.

Club night and Go-ride indoors 2016
Rollers
From this Wednesday we’ll be indoors at Aldercar High School – check the Calendar for when we meet. ALL WELCOME!
NEW ROOM – we’ll be in the new dining room … in the new building! It can be reached from either car park:
- If you park on the tennis courts as you have been then go up the steps to the right of the sports hall and in through the door on the right.
- If you go in through the Dalton’s Close entrance then you can drop kit off at the very end of the car park and park in any appropriate space – NOTE the narrow drop-off area provides access for emergency vehicles do not leave your car there!
Bring a clean bike, smooth tyres, rollers or turbo, a bottle and a towel and prepare to work hard!! In from 7pm, on and ready to roll by 7:30pm.
If you can’t ride rollers and you’d like to learn we can teach you! If you’d like to borrow a set of rollers please let us know and we’ll try to loan you a set.
Remember your warm layers and non-cycling shoes for journeying too and from Aldercar! AND A WOOLLY HAT!!
If you just want to pop down for a chat that’s fine too … hopefully we’ll have the kettle on 🙂
Venue change for Go-ride tonight
Tonight’s Go-ride (12 October 2016) has been moved to Shipley Park; we’ll have a one hour led ride starting at 7pm – lights and warm clothing is essential.
