National Clarion Track Champs 2016

National Clarion logoEntries are now open for the National Clarion Track Championships at Derby Arena:

  • Saturday 10th September (Seniors/Women/Juniors/Vets) 12.30pm
  • Sunday 11th September (Youths A/B/C) 9.30am

All the usual Championship events. Sprint, Pursuit, Team Pursuit and Five Mile plus support races. Including Omnium title for Seniors and Youths.

We have a champion in our midst!! Josh Giddings claimed first place in last Sunday’s National Clarion Hill Climb Championships hosted by Tuxford Clarion over at Kirton!

The full results are below – great rides too for Pete Campbell, Ian Bradley, Jack Bradley, Joe Kidd, Jack Brough and Sam Marsh … doing us proud!

National Clarion Track Championships

Dear Section Secretary/Official

The National Clarion Track Championships details are below. As it is only 2 months away please could you circulate the details to your members as soon as possible so that those who wish to enter can make a note of the date and time. Unfortunately, due to the way Manchester Velodrome allocate club sessions it is not possible to get more than 2 months notice for an event like this.

Entry will be via the British Cycling web site where details will appear soon. As last year there will be no EOL.

Date: Saturday 9th June 2012

Time: 1pm until 5pm

Venue: National Cycling Centre, Manchester

There will be the usual events including the sprint championship, pursuit, 5 mile championship, points race, team pursuit, devil.

I have also booked a training session for Thursday 7th June from 8pm till 10pm for anyone who wishes to have a bit of practice beforehand – please could anyone interested in this session contact me directly.
