This is an event I’ve ridden for the past two seasons, was my first ever sportive and is a good indicator of early season fitness. You sign up for the event (£30) and as long as you ride it you get your entry fee returned. It usually sells out in a couple of weeks. I have already signed up for the 80 mile ‘epic’. Would be nice to have some fellow Clarion riders in the peloton. Here is the blurb:
A friend of mine and former Heanor Running Club member has recently moved to France and set up campsite last year centred around on providing a training ground for runners and cyclists alike.
