Following interest at the AGM I have provisionally booked a 1 hour Club Taster Session at Manchester on Saturday 25th February at 6.00 – 7.00pm.

The session is for a maximum of 16 riders, suitable for novice, non-accredited, and experienced track riders. Minimum age 12+

Costs will be £10.30 per head if 16 riders attend – more if fewer go as track is £165/hr divided by number of riders. Track bike hire is included if required, although shoe hire (Look Delta cleats) is £4.50 extra.

Please be aware that as this is a taster session, with probably a mixture of novice and more experienced riders, then group racing will not be on the agenda. We might be able to persuade the coach to include some individual timed laps though.

No idea on amount of interest this excursion will generate but,  would recommend priority to  club members initially, and extend this to friends/family if spaces are still available. So we don’t clogg up the website can I suggest anyone interested in reserving a place/places please e-mail me on;

Places will be allocated on a ‘first come first served basis’ based on e-mail time and date received (sorry if this sounds a bit jobsworth!). I will obviously still post updates on here.

As ‘Tour Operator’ I am going to bag the first two places for Adam and myself so don’t delay, hurry, hurry, hurry, as of today there are only 14 places left!

Hope to get a good response to this or Adam and myself will have a very expensive, but exclusive few laps of the track!
