Open meeting – 7 November

You are invited to attend an open meeting to be held at Shipley Parish Room, The Field, Shipley, on Monday 7th November 7.45 – 9.45pm.

We have not had a meeting for some time due to several reasons which I will not go into detail here but it is clear that we need to bring everyone together to take the club forward.

The old meeting place at Heanor Miners Welfare has not proved popular in recent times so we are trying out a new venue which will be solely open to us for the night – hence no background interuptions etc.

Plus we need to move the club forward in 2012 as we have been drifting a little during the last couple of years and need a new sense of direction and purpose.

We would welcome views and new ideas from the members and outside of an AGM this is an opportunity for those views to be expressed and listened to.

So hopefully we will have a good turn out and an interesting evening!
