Young Volunteers skills

Earlier this week Jake Mann started the British Cycling Young Volunteers award … here are his thoughts:

The past two days have been a great experience, learning about the different types, and procedures of biking. I have learnt a lot about how to handle a bike in the correct way and how to teach younger children how to be safe when using a bike. The tutors at Aldercar were very informative and friendly to a novice like me in the biking area.

The day at Shipley was a great day all-round as it was fun for everyone from start to finish. I believe that this course was a good opportunity to take and would advise people to have a go at cycling to see if cycling is for them.
