Club Cluster of Training session (CCT): Prestwold Circuit

A 2 hour session dedicated to developing on & off bike skills along with physical elements required for success. Riders should be aware that these sessions will be physically challenging, progressively so across the winter meeting the needs of the racing standards of Youth A and Youth B Riders within the region.

Who delivers it?

Delivery will be shared by your club coaches, British Cycling East Mids Go-ride staff and the Midlands Regional Performance Pathway Coach.

When is it?

Every Thursday night from 7-9pm throughout the winter months starting on Thursday October 23rd. Rider Briefing at 6.45pm.

Where is it?

Prestwold Airfield, Prestwold Lane, Hoton, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE12 5SQ
Main entrance is to the airfield – NOT Prestwold Hall.

Who is it for?

Youth A & B riders.

What does it cost?

£3 per session

What you need?

You will need a clean road bike in good working order*, helmet, gloves, appropriate clothing, bike lights**, spare inner tube, tyre levers, pump and enough food & drink to see you through 2hrs of hard riding and the drive home (there is no drinking water on site). You will need a completed parental consent form – request from club – bring a signed form to each session.

*If you do not own a road bike then a cross bike with road tyres on is fine

**Bike lights need to be powerful enough to allow you to see enough to ride in complete darkness, they need to have 2hrs duration of battery life and they need to work in the wet!
